Yes, this will be enabled soon if the forum becomes more active.
I have also todo some configurations for outgoing e-mail on the forums sub-domain.

Was just wondering if email notification for subscribed threads etc. would be returning? This was useful before the old site took a downturn which i think resulted in less traffic.
